DIY: Simple Pencil Skirt
This tutorial takes you through the steps of how to create your own simple, pencil skirt (an essential for any wardrobe really!). It's such a nice and easy piece to make and super versatile to style! In this, I also share how to create a french seam, add a zipper and button!
The Essentials:
Material
Matching thread & bobbin
Zipper
Button
Fabric chalk
Fabric Scissors
General pins
Measuring tape
Small paint brush (or something long and thin)
Sewing Machine
Suggested Fabric Amount Required (based off mini length - not including lining):
Size Extra Small = 0.6m (off the roll)
Size Small = 0.8m (off the roll)
Size Medium = 1m (off the roll)
Size Large = 1.2m (off the roll)
Size Extra Large = 1.4m (off the roll)
(add or take 0.2 metres for anything larger or smaller than these sizes)
