DIY: Gathered One Shoulder Top

This simple number has been on my to-make list for quite some time now and bringing it to life did not disappoint the vision!

It’s such a versatile piece that will suit any wardrobe or occasion. With one big, puffy, oversized sleeve and an elastic waist, this is the dreamiest, flowy top which is also incredibly easy to make.

 
 
 
 
 
 

The Essentials:


  • Light Weight Material

  • Matching thread & bobbin

  • Reference shirt

  • Elastic (enough for wrist, waist and neck/chest sections)

  • Fabric chalk

  • Fabric Scissors

  • General pins & safety pin

  • Measuring tape

  • Sewing Machine

Suggested Fabric Amount Required:
Size Extra Small = 0.75m (off the roll)
Size Small = 1.0m (off the roll)
Size Medium = 1.25m (off the roll)
Size Large = 1.5m (off the roll)
Size Extra Large = 1.75m (off the roll)
(add or take 0.25 metres for anything larger or smaller than these sizes)
